Two days after Carotid artery surgery in a hospital in Chennai, superstar Rajinikanth was discharged on Sunday evening. The popular actor was admitted to Kauvery Hospital on Thursday after he experienced some giddiness.
“Returned home,” he tweeted.
After thoroughly examining him, the doctors had performed Carotid artery surgery on October 29. Besides bed rest, the superstar was advised to avoid any activity. He may not participate in any promotional events of his upcoming release, Peddhanna (‘Annaatthe’ in Tamil).
The 70-year-old actor has been facing many health issues. He cut down his acting assignments, and also backed off entering into politics due to aliments.
He was awarded the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award last week.
