Tamil superstar Suriya has officially commenced shooting for his next film today. The Telugu – Tamil bilingual is being directed by Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri. The project is being bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas.
To mark the beginning of the regular shoot, the team unveiled a poster featuring Suriya with the caption, “And the celebration begins.”
Director Venky Atluri, known for his recent back-to-back successes Sir/Vaathi and Lucky Baskhar, has proven his strength in delivering content-driven films with cross-industry appeal.
The film stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, while Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon returns to Telugu cinema in a significant role. Veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar also plays a key character. Music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
Tentatively titled #Suriya46, the film is produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, and is slated for a Summer 2025 release.
