Tamil superstar Suriya has been releasing his movies on OTT, skipping the theatrical window for the past two years. But he will be returning to the theaters next year. Suriya has now announced his next film will hit the theaters only.

He is currently acting in a Tamil film named ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ (ET), directed by Pandiraj. The makers have announced that the film will release on February 4th in theaters. Suriya’s movie will have to compete with Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ in the Telugu market.
Suriya’s recent films tanked at the box office in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. However, he gained craze with OTT releases like ‘Aakasam Nee Haddhu Ra’ and ‘Jai Bhim’.
February 2022 is turning out to be crowded with multiple releases.
