Taapsee starrer ‘Haseena Dillruba’ is out. The thriller premiered on Netflix on Friday (July 2). The Hindi movie has received a lukewarm response. The critics also gave thumbs down.
Popular film critic Anupama Chopra declared that the film loses its tempo as it progresses. “Haseen Dilruba starts with a bang but ends with a whimper,” she wrote. Bollywood Hungama’s critic also echoed the same: “The unconvincing narrative in the second half and the disappointing climax spoils the show.”
Indian Express’s Subhra Gupta also gave thumbs down to Taapsee Pannu’s performance.
However, our Telugu cinematographer Gummadi Jayakrishna, who filmed it, won good praise. The film is written by Kanika Dhillon.
