Following the sensational success of “Hanu Man,” young actor Teja Sajja is aiming for another pan-India blockbuster with his upcoming superhero film “Mirai.” Riding high on his newly earned image in the superhero space, Teja is promoting himself as the face of this genre, whether organically built or carefully crafted through PR, a strategy many actors today are actively investing in.
Buoyed by the success of “Hanu Man,” the makers of “Mirai” are now expecting to rake in at least Rs 100 crore in total business, including theatrical and non-theatrical revenues. The film, directed by cinematographer-turned-director Karthik Ghattamaneni has generated significant buzz thanks to its striking visuals and the name Teja has gained.
OTT platforms are reportedly offering close to Rs 50 crore for the film’s digital rights alone.
With strong confidence in the film’s theatrical potential, especially in Telugu and Hindi markets, the producers are optimistic about crossing Rs 50 crore pre-release theatrical business as well.
“Mirai” is scheduled to release on September 5, 2025, and the team has already kickstarted promotions with the launch of the first song from the soundtrack.
