Teja Sajja scored two consecutive hits: Jombie Reddy and Hanu Man. The latter made a lot of money in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, the United States, and northern India. “Hanu Man” was one of the biggest hits in 2024 in Indian cinema.
So, Teja Sajja has decided not to sign any more films. He is open to makers who can invest heavily in production and develop them into pan-Indian projects. But he demands Rs 10 crore per film. This is a huge increase.
Before “Hanu Man,” his remuneration was around Rs 2 crore. Now he upped it five times.
Teja Sajja is now starring in “Mirayi,” a film helmed by cinematographer turned director Karthik Ghattamaneni and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad. He is now in talks about two more projects. However, the producers who pitched ideas were astonished to learn of his demand of Rs 10 crore.
If the producers give him Rs 10 crore and agree to his demand for “rich production values,” his projects will cost at least Rs 30-40 crore.
