The first episode promo of the Telugu version of popular talent hunt show Indian Idol has been launched and the video serves as a prelude to the grand show which will be the next offering of Aha.
With the streaming platform roping in music director S Thaman, actor-singer Nithya and singer-composer Karthik as the members of the jury, the promo all three interacting with the participants and motivating him.
There are emotional moments, funny trolls and encouraging scenes in the promo, which kindles the curiosity about the show to be hosted by Indian Idol 6 winner, Bigg Boss second runner up and playback singer Sree Ramachandra. It will go on for 16 weeks and 32 episodes.
Starting February 25, it will be aired every Fridays and Saturdays at 9 pm. Winners will take home hefty prize money and the first Telugu Indian Idol title. Indian Idol is all about various talented participants from various parts competing against each other during the singing competition in order to impress the judges and win the title.
The show is hugely popular in Hindi and Aha has acquired the rights of its Telugu version.
