The “Thandel” starring Naga Chaitanya has brought much-needed relief to the actor as his previous films were flops. Naga Chaitanya put in a lot of effort and worked hard to make this a success, and the film won favorable reviews and collected well.
But the makers releasing the Rs 100 Cr gross collection poster sparked a debate. Some say it is yet to reach that mark. Others say the film really achieved it with the second weekend collections. The trade pundits say the film saw a spike in collections on the second Saturday and Sunday.
Producer Bunny Vas released the poster today (Feb 16, 2025) saying that he promised to deliver a Rs 100 Cr movie for Naga Chaitanya and kept it. “We promised, we did it! #Thandel: 100+ CR gross worldwide,” he wrote on social media.
This achievement is particularly remarkable given its release during an unseasonal period and despite the immediate availability of pirated copies. This marks Naga Chaitanya’s first entry into the 100 crore (gross) club.
