Producer Dil Raju seems to be getting the wrong guidance from his team lately. He is scoring flops more these days. His latest production, Thank You, has collected the lowest opening ever for a Naga Chaitanya starrer.
Naga Chaitanya and Raashi Khanna starrer was released on Friday.
At many centers, the film registered just about 20% occupancy. Incessant rains could be one reason but the scathing reviews and strong negative word-of-mouth is the main factor for such a low opening. For a mid-range hero like Naga Chaitanya, whose previous films like ‘Love Story’ and ‘Bangarraju’ opened strongly, this collection is a shame.
Directed by Vikram Kumar, ‘Thank You’ has a lethargic screenplay. Our critic wrote that the film suffers from predictable narrative and lethargic direction.
