Tharun Bhascker jokes about Vijay Deverakonda’s wedding reports

Actor-director Tharun Bhascker is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film “Gaayapadda Simham,” in which he plays the lead role. The teaser-trailer of the film was unveiled today, followed by an interactive press meet where Tharun spoke about the project and took questions from the media.

During the Q&A session, the discussion briefly shifted to Vijay Deverakonda, who shares a close friendship with Tharun.

A reporter asked whether Tharun had received an invitation to Vijay Deverakonda’s wedding, amid widespread speculation that the actor might be tying the knot with actress Rashmika Mandanna later this month.

Responding with his trademark wit, Tharun Bhascker said, “I haven’t received any invitation. If I do get one, I’ll forward it to you, and we can all attend the wedding together,” drawing laughter from the audience.

Vijay Deverakonda’s acting career took off with “Pelli Choopulu,” directed by Tharun Bhascker. While the duo hasn’t collaborated again since then, they have continued to remain close friends over the years.
