The Paradise: Team declares 2026 as ‘Jadal Zamana’

Nani is set to surprise audiences with a never-seen-before avatar in “The Paradise,” which is currently under production. Playing a character named Jadal, the actor sports a rugged look with twin braids, extensive body tattoos, and ear piercings, marking a drastic departure from anything he, or most Telugu actors, have portrayed so far.

On New Year’s Day, the team unveiled a striking new poster proclaiming that 2026 will be “Jadal Zamana,” translating to the era of Jadal. The poster also reaffirms the film’s theatrical release date as March 26, 2026.

The poster features Nani gearing up for an intense fight sequence, reportedly a high-stakes prison brawl involving foreign fighters. The caption on the poster reads: “Welcome to 2026 aka JADAL ZAMANA. Happy New Year. #TheParadise in cinemas 26th March, 2026.”

Directed by Srikanth Odela of Dasara fame, “The Paradise” is a period drama set in Secunderabad and is slated for a pan-world release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish.

Sonali Kulkarni plays Nani’s mother, while Kayadu Lohar is cast as the female lead. The film features music by Anirudh Ravichander and is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri.
