It was director Prashanth Neel’s insistence that Prabhas underwent for a makeover. After seeing the rushes of the movie she filmed, the ‘Salaar’ director felt that Prabhas is not in his best form. The physicality is not appealing. So, they had a meeting together just before the release of ‘KGF 2’.
Prashanth Neel asked Prabhas to lose weight by at least 10 kgs and said he would not commence the new schedule until he goes for a makeover. It was then, Prabhas joined a wellness program and went for a transformation.
Neel resumed the shooting of ‘Salaar’ recently and he has plans to complete the entire shooting part by December this year. The film is expected to hit the theaters in the summer of 2023.
