A busy weekend ahead for film lovers! Both theatrical and OTT releases are lined up for consumption this weekend. The much-awaited Nani starrer ‘Tuck Jagadish’ will stream from 9th September night on Amazon Prime Video. The film has generated a lot of buzz thanks to its stunning promos and controversies.
‘Tuck Jagadish’ is directed by Shiva Nirvana, who has delivered two hits before – Ninnu Kori and Majili. Hence, the expectations are high for this film. Amazon Prime also paid a huge amount to get the rights.
Vijay Sethupathi, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu starrer ‘Laabham’ is releasing in the theaters on 9th September. Dubbed version of the Tamil film by the same name, ‘Laabam’ is directed by SP Jananathan. No buzz has been created for this film in Telugu.
The biggest of them is Gopichand’s ‘Seetimaarr’ as it is a masala entertainer. It has been a long time since a mass film hit the theaters. Sports drama carries high expectations. The makers have also promoted it aggressively. ‘Seetimaarr’ hits the theaters on 10th September.
Directed by Sampath Nandi, the film features Tamannaah as Jwala Reddy. The song ‘Jwala Reddy’ became a huge hit. Mani Sharma’s songs and Tamannaah’s glamour are added attractions.
NET, a web film starring Rahul Ramakrishna and Avika Gor, streams on Zee Telugu 5 from Sep 10th. The trailer won apperciation.
Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Thalaivi’ is another notable release. Directed by AL Vijay, ‘Thalaivi’ is a biopic on Jayalalitha, former Tamilnadu Chief Minister, and renowned actress.
Small films like ‘GST’, ‘Jatiya Rahadari’, and ‘Srusti’ are in the fray.
