Toxic: AP and TG rights sold for record Rs 120 Cr

Despite media reports and ongoing release-date speculations, Kannada superstar Yash’s upcoming pan-India film “Toxic” is firmly sticking to its original release plan. The film is officially locked for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026, setting up a major box-office face-off with Bollywood biggie “Dhurandhar 2.”
Strengthening its pre-release buzz further, “Toxic” has sealed a record Andhra Pradesh–Telangana theatrical deal.
Leading producer and distributor Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) has acquired the AP and Telangana for a whopping Rs 120 crore, making it one of the biggest regional acquisitions in recent years.
Produced by KVN Productions, “Toxic” marks Yash’s first full-fledged theatrical release after the blockbuster “KGF” franchise. The film is being mounted on a massive scale and is designed as a high-octane action drama with strong pan-India appeal. Directed by Geetu Mohanadas, the film features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi.
With a confirmed release date, strong trade confidence, and a massive SVC deal backing it, Toxic is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated big-ticket releases of 2026. All eyes are now on how the film performs in its direct clash with Dhurandhar 2 at the box office.
