Toxic locks August 26 release, ending all rumors

Putting an end to months of speculation and recent rumors, the makers of “Toxic” have officially announced its new release date. The Yash-starrer will now arrive in theaters on August 26, 2026.
Only last week, reports surfaced claiming that the film had been pushed to 2027 due to extensive reshoots. The rumors disappointed fans, who feared yet another delay for a project that has already seen multiple postponements. With the official release date now locked, the team has effectively silenced the speculation.
The August 26 release is expected to benefit from the Raksha Bandhan holiday period, giving the film a strong box-office window.
The newly unveiled poster also offers a major clue about the story. It suggests that Yash will be seen in dual roles, portraying both father and son. The tagline, “Honour Thy Father,” indicates that the film revolves around a father-son relationship, with action serving as a key component of the narrative.
Directed by Geethu Mohandas, “Toxic” is one of the most anticipated Indian films in production. In the making for over two years, the film features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in prominent roles. The film is being produced by KVN Productions.
