Chiranjeevi and Trisha are reuniting. They last appeared together in ‘Stalin’ 17 years ago. Trisha became popular again after the success of ‘Ponniyan Selvan,’ and she is now starring in a number of high-profile films. She recently completed ‘Leo’ with Thalapathy Vijay.
She has now landed another major Telugu film. She will play the female lead in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film. Her name has been bandied about. The producers approached her and took her nod.
Kalyan Krishna will direct the film. Kalyan Krishna’s previous film, Bangarraju, was a super hit. Sushmita Chiranjeevi, Chiranjeevi’s daughter, will produce the film.
It’s a father-son story. Chiranjeevi plays the father, and Trisha plays his wife. The film will be announced and launched in August.
