Trisha’s career recently took a new turn. Following the massive success of Mani Ratnam’s “PS” films, she has found herself suddenly in demand as a lead actress.
Her work on “Leo” was recently completed. She co-starred with Vijay in the film, which will be released in theaters on October 19.
Meanwhile, she has signed two more Kollywood big project, both of which are about to begin production. Trisha will appear in “Vidaa Muyarchi” alongside Ajith Kumar. She will also appear in Mani Ratnam’s new film, opposite Kamal Haasan.
So, at the age of 40, Trisha is playing the female lead, ushering in a new trend in South Indian cinema.
