At Telugucinema.com, we were the first to report that director Trivikram Srinivas had initiated talks with Ram Charan for a possible collaboration, shortly after Allu Arjun announced his next project with director Atlee. We also revealed that Trivikram was reportedly upset with Allu Arjun for delaying their planned film, prompting him to explore other options.
It is now confirmed that the much-anticipated Trivikram-Allu Arjun film will not materialize anytime soon. Instead, Trivikram has decided to move forward with his ambitious mythological project based on Lord Karthikeya’s story, with Jr NTR in the lead.
Although Allu Arjun liked the script, he neither committed to dates nor confirmed a timeline.
Frustrated by the prolonged indecision, Trivikram has reworked the story and pitched it to NTR. The project is expected to take shape after Trivikram wraps up one or two other films currently in the pipeline.
Sources indicate that Allu Arjun, riding high on the pan-India success of “Pushpa: The Rule,” sees the Atlee collaboration as a better strategic move for his current stardom—ultimately leading to a fallout with Trivikram.
