Upasana Kamineni Konidela paid a touching tribute to Dr. Prathap C Reddy on his 91st birthday at Apollo Hospital in Chennai. Upasana Kamineni Konidela’s highly anticipated book, “The Apollo Story,” was released in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals and Amar Chitra Katha.
“The Apollo Story” is the legendary story of Dr. Prathap C Reddy, capturing the challenges, innovations, and victories that shaped the Apollo mission.
Upasana Kamineni Konidela expressed her gratitude and vision at the grand launch. “This book is for all of the little girls out there – to dream big. Learn how her grandfather inspired and motivated his four daughters to work hard and make a difference in the healthcare industry. All fathers should read this book to be inspired to set ambitious goals for their daughters,” she said.
When asked if she has any plans to produce a biopic about her grandfather, she said it could happen in the future. Whether her husband Ram Charan appears in the film, she laughed and said it all depends on the director’s vision.
