‘Uppena’, which was to release last April, is finally readying to hit the theaters next month. The makers are now planning to release it on 5th February.

‘Uppena’ marks the debut of Vaishnav Tej, the younger brother of Sai Dharam Tej.
‘Uppena’ is also introducing Krithi Shetty, a Bengaluru girl. Directed by Buchi Babu, the film has successfully managed to gain the attention of film lovers with catchy songs.
‘Uppena’ is said to be a love story that also deals with the topical issue of honor killings. Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is playing the antagonist.
Devi Sri Prasad has given the music.
