Urvashi Rautela is often labeled a ‘drama queen’ for creating more buzz on social media and in the press than through her actual talent. She even claimed to be the first “outsider” to have a Rs 100 crore film, referring to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Daaku Maharaaj,” which reportedly grossed Rs 100 crore worldwide.
Now, she has responded to criticism following her appearance at the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival 2025. Some media reports accused her of trying to emulate Aishwarya Rai, stating that she lacks charisma.
Taking to Instagram, Urvashi addressed the comparison. While acknowledging Aishwarya Rai as an icon, she firmly stated that she never tries to imitate any celebrity. “I’m not a duplicate—I’m the blueprint,” she declared.
As for the charisma critique, she added confidently: “And charisma? Sweetheart, if you could measure it, I’d break the scale.”

Urvashi Rautela has appeared in item numbers in films like “Skanda,” “Waltair Veerayya” and “Agent.” She also played a minor role in “Daaku Maharaaj.”
