‘Karthikeya 2’ is the third Telugu film to have grossed more than half a million dollars this month at the USA box office. ‘Sita Ramam’ ($1 million plus) and ‘Bimbisara’ are the other two Telugu films.

The mystic thriller collected $400k plus in its first weekend. It has added another 100k on Monday and Tuesday. Thus, it crossed the milestone. ‘Karthikeya 2’ is on its way to becoming a blockbuster.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film starred Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles.
Though the film was heavily inspired by ‘The Da Vinci Code’, the penultimate sequences and Krishna Tatvam worked in its favor.
