Newlyweds Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are celebrating their wedding with a series of gatherings for those close to them: from villagers in Vijay’s ancestral hometown to fans and now the media.
Ahead of their grand wedding reception scheduled this evening (March 14) at Taj Krishna, the couple hosted a special interaction and party for media personnel. With high-profile guests including Chief Ministers and senior politicians expected at the reception, tight security arrangements are in place. Hence, the couple chose to personally meet and greet the media beforehand.
During the interaction, Vijay Deverakonda emotionally stated that the Telugu media “will always be home” for him. In a heartwarming remark, he added that Telugu land has received a good kodalu (daughter-in-law), proudly referring to Rashmika Mandanna.
Rashmika, visibly happy, thanked the Telugu media for supporting her journey from her very first Telugu film. She expressed her joy about marrying Vijay and beginning this new chapter in her life.
