Vijay Deverakonda demanding Rs 9 Cr?

Vijay Deverakonda is star of the year in 2018 with six releases and two hits as a solo hero (‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Taxiwaala’) and a hit as guest star (‘Mahanati’). His popularity is at peak stage now.

No wonder then that he’s now demanding huge money as his remuneration.

At the beginning of this year, he was taking Rs 3 Cr remuneration per movie. With ‘Geetha Govindam’ raking in whopping Rs 70 Cr (share) theatrical revenue and ‘Taxiwaaala’ bringing in Rs 22 Cr (share) theatrical revenue, trade feels he has arrived as a major star. ‘NOTA’ was the only notable dud.

He is now said to be demanding Rs 9 Cr for the next films. For director Kranthi Madhav’s current movie, he has already received whopping Rs 7.5 Cr remuneration.
