Vijay Deverakonda marries his best friend Rashmika Mandanna

In a heartwarming real-life love story, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have officially tied the knot. The star couple got married in a traditional ceremony at a luxury hotel in Udaipur on Thursday, in the presence of close family members and a few film celebrities.

Both Vijay and Rashmika took to social media to share dreamy pictures from their big day, confirming that they are now husband and wife.

Vijay shared an emotional note, revealing how he turned his best friend into his life partner. He wrote that he missed her presence in everyday moments, from meals and workouts to simply feeling at home, and realized she was his calm and comfort no matter where he was. “So, I made my best friend… my wife,” he concluded.

Rashmika, equally overjoyed, introduced Vijay as her husband in her post, writing: “Introducing to you now My Husband! Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!!”

The couple’s wedding reception is set to take place in Hyderabad on March 4 and is expected to be attended by several prominent names from the film industry.

Interestingly, Vijay and Rashmika first shared screen space in the blockbuster “Geetha Govindam”, which ended with their characters getting married. Years later, reel has turned into real, as the beloved on-screen pair is now husband and wife in real life too.
