Vijay Deverakonda: The emotions in Kingdom will strike a chord

Vijay Deverakonda’s much-awaited “Kingdom” is all set for a grand worldwide release on July 31st. Directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film also stars Bhagyashree Borse and Satyadev in key roles. It is jointly produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Srikara Studios presenting and Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music.

At a pre-release press meet, Vijay Deverakonda expressed his confidence in the film’s emotional depth. “We’re satisfied with the final product and overwhelmed by the pre-booking response. Kingdom is rooted in strong family emotions. Within the first two minutes, audiences will be pulled into its world.”

Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is happy with the strong openings. “In today’s times, it’s tough to open strong, but Kingdom has passed its first big test. Advance bookings have been excellent. This isn’t a typical action film. It’s a gangster drama with Gowtam Tinnanuri’s emotional signature and broad audience appeal.”

He also highlighted the film’s realistic approach. “We avoided artificial sets and shot mostly in real locations. The authenticity will show on screen, and I believe the audience will appreciate the effort.”

Bhagyashree Borse, who plays the main female lead, said that she portrayed Madhu, a beautifully written character.
