Sometime back, three directors VV Vinayak, Meher Ramesh, and Bobby posed together, and the photograph went viral. It was believed that the three would be directing a film each with Megastar Chiranjeevi in 2021.
But, things have changed. In place of Vinayak, Tamil director Jayam Raja aka Mohan Raja has stepped in. Vinayak was to direct the Telugu remake of ‘Lucifer’ with Chiranjeevi. However, Megastar reportedly is not impressed with Vinayak’s vision of this remake. Then came Jayam Raja on board, and the film was recently launched.
Taking to social media, Chiranjeevi today confirmed his next three films and the names of the directors. Sharing a photo from the launch of the ‘Lucifer’ remake, Chiranjeevi said these are his four captains (directors).
The photograph features directors Siva Koratala (who is currently directing ‘Acharya’), Mohan Raja (director of ‘Lucifer’ remake), Meher Ramesh, and Bobby.
Meher Ramesh will direct the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit ‘Vedalam’. Bobby has reportedly written an original script.
So, these are Chiranjeevi’s next releases in the coming months starting with Koratala Siva’s ‘Acharya’. Will Vinayak ever get another chance to direct Chiranjeevi?
