We are all safe, confirms Nikhil after mishap on set

Actor Nikhil Siddhartha, who is currently juggling multiple projects, is shooting for The India House, a period spy thriller set during the British era. During the filming of an elaborate sea sequence on a blue-mat set in Hyderabad, an unexpected mishap occurred, leading to the collapse of the set and damage to equipment.

A video from the location shows massive water tankers, brought in to simulate sea conditions, bursting and causing a flood-like situation inside the enclosed set. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Taking to social media, Nikhil reassured fans and well-wishers, confirming that the entire team is safe, though the accident resulted in significant equipment loss.

He wrote, “We r all Safe. Sometimes in our Quest to give the Best cinematic Experience we take Risks. Today we survived a Huge mishap thanks to the Alert Crew and Precautions taken. We lost Expensive Equipment but by gods grace there was no human damage.”

“The India House” is written and directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna and is being presented by Ram Charan. The film is jointly produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and V Mega Pictures. Set in pre-independence India, the film features Nikhil in a never-before-seen avatar, with veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher playing a pivotal role.
