Who backstabbed Prakash Raj in MAA elections?
When Prakash Raj announced his decision to contest the MAA elections two months ago, it looked he would win easily. He began his campaigning so early. He had readied his panel within no time. Still, he could not win. Manchu Vishnu won against Prakash Raj with over 100 votes. Prakash Raj got a big shock with the result.
What went wrong? Prakash Raj lacked poll management. He and his team overtly relied on big stars. On the other hand, Manchu Vishnu had approached members, who reside in faraway cities. He made them vote using the postal ballot.
The majority of the leading actors didn’t vote.
Also, Prakash Raj became a victim of petty politics within the movie industry. If anyone observed the elections closely, one can easily spot the fake bonhomie that actors share.
He should have requested top actors like NTR, Prabhas, and Allu Arjun to come for voting. Had the top stars really stand behind Prakash Raj, the situation would have been different. Mahesh Babu, NTR, Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Varun Tej, Nithin, and other stars didn’t cast their votes.
The very people he relied heavily on have failed to back him.
