Akhil Akkineni has recently entered a new phase in life. On June 6, he tied the knot with his girlfriend Zainab Ravdjee in a low-key ceremony in Hyderabad. The wedding reception, held two days later, was a grand affair attended by politicians and celebrities.
After the wedding, Akhil’s parents Nagarjuna and Amala, his brother Naga Chaitanya, and his vadina Sobhita shared pictures and congratulatory messages on social media. However, Akhil himself hasn’t posted anything about the ceremony on his Instagram yet.
Although he shared a picture with Zainab after their engagement last year, he has been maintaining a low profile on social media ever since. Except for a recent post featuring the poster of his upcoming film Lenin, there has been no new activity on his Instagram.
Skipping wedding photos has certainly surprised many.
Apparently, Akhil wants to stay out of the spotlight and keep his personal life private. He is currently going through a low phase in his career. He has drastically reduced his social media presence. Still, fans had hoped he would share at least a few moments from his wedding.
He will soon resume shooting for “Lenin,” which is slated for release later this year.
