Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Vishwambhara” has faced multiple postponements. Initially slated for release on January 10, 2025, the film was later pushed to May 9. But that date didn’t hold either. We recently reported that the makers are eyeing July 24, coinciding with the release anniversary of “Indra.”
However, our sources inform us that the film may not be ready even by then. Delays in visual effects and the need to reshoot certain portions are reportedly pushing the timeline further. As of now, it seems unlikely that the film will hit the July deadline.
While there’s industry buzz suggesting that the release might be pushed to next year, some sources say Chiranjeevi is determined to bring the film to theaters by August or September.
Meanwhile, the film’s first song, Rama Rama, has gone viral and already crossed 25 million views, creating solid buzz around the project.
“Vishwambhara” is a socio-fantasy film directed by Vassishta, who earlier delivered the hit Bimbisara. The film stars Trisha as the female lead, with Ashika Ranganath playing the second heroine. UV Creations is producing it.
