Yash begins shooting for Ramayana’s war episode

Yash

Kannada superstar Yash has finally joined the sets of Ramayana, a pan-Indian two-parter about India’s revered story. There have been many films and TV dramas based on Valmiki’s Ramayana, but director Nitesh Tiwari is making this latest film for a global audience using cutting-edge technologies and high-end visual effects.

Yash and Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios co-produce the film in a big way.

The film’s shooting began long ago with sequences related to Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, who are playing Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in the film. The filming for the first part—Ramayana: Part 1—resumed after a break, and Yash joined the sets.

Yash is currently filming action episodes. He plays Ravana in the film.

Yash took a break from the shooting of his other film, “Toxic,” and joined the sets of Ramayan. The film also features an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Rakul Preet Singh, and Kunal Kapoor.
