Yashoda grosses half million dollars

‘Yashoda,’ starring Samantha, grossed half a million dollars at the box office. On Tuesday, the film reached this milestone. The film is profitable for the distributor. The thriller received favourable reviews, but word-of-mouth was not exceptional. Hence, it is playing on a slow note.

Collections in AP and Telangana, on the other hand, have dropped dramatically. After a strong first weekend, it is struggling at the domestic box office. The film’s performance in the coming weekend must improve. 

The producer earned more than Rs 20 crore from non-theatrical sales of the heroine-centric film. We’ll have to wait and see if he makes much money from the theatre.

Samantha’s next film will be ‘Kushi,’ in which she will co-star with Vijay Deverakonda. The film’s shoot was stopped due to the actress’s ill-health. It is expected to resume shortly.
