Yash’s much-awaited film “Toxic” has been postponed yet again, continuing a trend of delays for big-budget pan-Indian projects. Initially slated for March 19, the film was earlier pushed to June 4, 2026, but with no promotional activity in sight, the makers have now decided to delay it further. A new release date is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Yash has shifted focus to his upcoming magnum opus “Ramayana.”
Along with producer Namit Malhotra, he is currently in Las Vegas, where exclusive footage and a teaser of the film are set to be showcased at the prestigious CinemaCon. The film is being planned for a grand Diwali release, and Yash has already begun interacting with international media as part of the promotions.
With Toxic vacating its June 4 slot, speculation has begun over whether Ram Charan’s “Peddi” will move in to claim the date or stick to its alternate plan of June 25. The makers are yet to take a final call.
One thing, however, is becoming increasingly clear. Big-ticket pan-Indian films are finding it difficult to adhere to their announced release schedules, leading to frequent reshuffles and uncertainty in the release calendar.
