Yash rose to national prominence with the “KGF” films. Today, he is one of Indian cinema’s biggest and most popular stars. He took two years to begin his next film. The new film, titled “Toxic”, is currently in production.
According to recent reports, the film will not focus on masculine issues as the title suggests. It revolves around the drug mafia. Yash portrays a character who takes on the drug mafia.
Kiara Advani has signed to play the female lead opposite Yash. This is her fourth South Indian film, following “Bharat Ane Nene”, “Vinaya Vidheya Rama”, and “Game Changer”.
Interestingly, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor will portray Yash’s sister. This will be her first South Indian film.
The regular shoot will start later this month in a village in Karnataka. Geetu Mohandas’ film “Toxic” is set to be released on April 10, 2025.
