Zero publicity for Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly
Our Telugu film industry’s leading production house, Mythri Movie Makers, stepped into the Tamil film industry with a film that starred Ajith Kumar. Given Ajith Kumar’s popularity and his craze, the film will get near-record openings in Tamil Nadu.
But the production house has not made any effort to create publicity around this film titled “Good, Bad, Ugly.”
Although it is being released in a Telugu dubbed version in AP and Telangana, the production company didn’t even promote it in a regular manner either. Ajith Kumar’s previous film, “Pattudala Vidaamuyarchi,” tanked at the box office. Despite this, Mythri Movie Makers didn’t take care of promotions.
So, “Good Bad Ugly,” directed by Tamil filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran, will arrive in theaters on Thursday with zero buzz. The film has Trisha playing the female lead. The songs, by GV Prakash Kumar, failed to generate any excitement either.
