OTT watch: Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s ‘Sing Geetham’ debuts on Netflix

Director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s experimental Telugu film “Sing Geetham” has made its OTT debut. The film is now streaming on Netflix.

Released in theatres recently, “Sing Geetham” stood out for its unique storytelling. Billed as India’s first film that blends spoken dialogue with songs used as conversations, it received positive reviews from critics. However, the film failed to attract enough audiences at the box office.

Produced by Nag Ashwin, the film features newcomers Ayaan, Ahilya Bamboo and Shalini Kondepudi in the lead roles, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The story revolves around environmental conservation and highlights the dangers of unchecked mining.

“Sing Geetham” is now available on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
