Ram Charan’s Peddi: Netflix announces streaming date

Ram Charan’s sports drama “Peddi” is all set for its OTT debut. Netflix has officially announced that the film will begin streaming from July 9.

Released in theaters last month, “Peddi” emerged as the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2026 so far. The sports drama collected over Rs 340 crore worldwide, with a major share of its revenue coming from the Telugu states.

While most Telugu films arrive on OTT platforms within four weeks of their theatrical release, “Peddi” is taking a slightly longer route and will premiere five weeks after its theatrical debut.

Netflix will stream “Peddi” in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada from July 9. The Hindi version will be released at a later date.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features Ram Charan as a multi-sport athlete, with Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead. The film’s emotional narrative, sports backdrop, and Ram Charan’s performance contributed to its strong box-office.
