మలయాళ సినిమా రంగంలో లెజెండరీ స్టేటస్ పొందిన నటుడు… మోహన్ లాల్. దాదాపు నాలుగు దశాబ్దాలుగా మోహన్ లాల్ నటిస్తున్నారు. ఇన్నేళ్ల తర్వాత ఆయనకి డైరెక్టర్ కావాలనే ఆశ పుట్టింది. ‘బారోజ్’ అనే పేరుతో తన తొలి డైరెక్టోరియల్ మూవీని ఈ రోజు లాంచ్ చేశారు.
వాస్కోడిగామా కాలం నాటి కథ ఇది. మోహన్ లాల్ స్వయంగా స్క్రీన్ ప్లే కూడా రాసుకున్నారు. ఇందులో ఒక కొత్త జంట లీడ్ రోల్ లో నటిస్తోంది. అమితాబ్ బచ్చన్ సహా పలువురు సినీ ప్రముఖులు మోహన్ లాల్ కి బెస్ట్ విషెస్ తెలిపారు.
‘జనతా గ్యారేజ్’ చిత్రంతో తెలుగులో కూడా పాపులర్ అయ్యారు మోహన్ లాల్. ఆతర్వాత అయన నటించిన మలయాళ చిత్రాలు – మన్యం పులి, లూసిఫర్ తెలుగులో కూడా డబ్ అయి విజయం సాధించాయి. ఇక ‘దృశ్యం’ సినిమాతో దేశమంతా ఆయనకీ క్రేజ్ వచ్చింది.
