ఒకప్పుడు ప్రశాంత్ అందగాడు. అమ్మాయిల్లో ఎంతో ఫాలోయింగ్ ఉండేది. ‘చామంతి’, ‘లాఠీ’, ‘ప్రేమ శిఖరం’, ‘జీన్స్’, ‘దొంగ దొంగా’ వంటి సినిమాలతో 1990లలో ఎంతో క్రేజ్ తెచ్చుకున్న హీరో. ఆ తర్వాత తమిళ సినిమా రంగానికే పరిమితం అయ్యాడని చెప్పాలి. మరికొన్నాళ్ళకు క్రేజ్ మొత్తం పోయింది.
ఇప్పుడు మళ్ళీ సినిమాల్లోనూ, వ్యక్తిగత జీవితంలోనూ రెండో ఇన్నింగ్స్ మొదలు పెడుతున్నాట్ట.
ప్రశాంత్ రెండో పెళ్ళికి ముహూర్తం కూడా ఫిక్స్ అయినట్లు సమాచారం. చెన్నైకి చెందిన ఒక యువతిని పెళ్లాడనున్నాడట. ప్రశాంత్ మొదటి భార్య నుంచి విడిపోయి చాలా కాలమే అయింది. ఇప్పుడు ఒక స్నేహితురాలిని పెళ్లాడనున్నాడట. ఆమె కూడా భర్త నుంచి విడిపోయింది. ప్రశాంత్ కిప్పుడు 48ఏళ్ళు.
మరోవైపు ప్రశాంత్ నటించిన ‘అందగాన్’ (‘అంధధూన్’ రీమేక్) త్వరలోనే విడుదల కానుంది. ఈ సినిమాతో మళ్ళీ హీరోగా బిజి కావాలనుకుంటున్నారు. ప్రశాంత్ నటించిన చివరి తెలుగుచిత్రం…. వినయ విధేయ రామ. ఆ సినిమాలో రామ్ చరణ్ కి సోదరుడిగా నటించారు.
