The Odyssey: Christopher Nolan to attend Mumbai premiere

Acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan is set to visit Mumbai next month to promote his latest film, “The Odyssey.”

Nolan shares a special connection with India. He filmed key portions of his previous blockbuster “Tenet” in Mumbai and also cast veteran Bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia in a prominent role. Over the years, the director has built a massive fan base across India, with his films enjoying strong theatrical success in the country.

According to reports, Nolan will arrive in Mumbai during the third week of July 2026 along with lead actors Matt Damon and Tom Holland, as well as producer Emma Thomas, for the Indian premiere of “The Odyssey.” The event is expected to be held at PVR ICON IMAX in Lower Parel, Mumbai.

Based on Homer’s epic poem, “The Odyssey” is a mythological action-adventure drama filmed entirely using IMAX cameras. Matt Damon plays the legendary Odysseus, while Tom Holland portrays his son Telemachus.

The film also features an impressive ensemble cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron. “The Odyssey” is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 17.
