Nani transforms into Jadal in ‘The Paradise’

The team behind “The Paradise,” featuring Nani in the lead, has been actively promoting the film even before its official launch. With a portion of the shoot already completed, the makers have now begun unveiling character posters at regular intervals to build anticipation.
Marking the occasion of Varalakshmi Vratam today, the first character poster was released, introducing Nani as Jadal.
In the film’s story, Nani’s character is referred to as Jadal, a name derived from his distinctive look, as he sports two long braids (Jadalu in Telugu). There’s a deeper reason behind this unique appearance, which ties closely to the film’s core narrative. Set in the bygone era of Secunderabad, the braids are symbolic and central to the plot.
The poster features Nani in a rugged avatar, sporting goggles, metal chains around his neck, a twirled moustache, and a nose ring along with his signature braids.
“The Paradise” is directed by Srikanth Odela, who made an impressive debut with Dasara, also starring Nani. In a recent social media post, the director hinted at the film’s tone, saying, “Nani will walk into hell and turn it into Paradise.”
Bollywood actress Sonali Kulkarni plays Nani’s mother in this emotionally driven mother-son drama. The music is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander, adding further star power to the project.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, “The Paradise” is scheduled for release in March 2026. The female lead is yet to be announced.
