North America: MSG enters Top 15 all-time Telugu hits
MSG aka “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” has stormed past the coveted $3 million mark in record time. The film has emerged as the fastest $3 million grosser and the highest-ever North American gross for a Megastar Chiranjeevi film. Remarkably, it achieved this milestone in just eight days, including premiere shows.
This marks the first $3 million film in North America for both Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Anil Ravipudi, making it a career-best performance for the duo. Released across North American screens on January 11, the family entertainer struck a strong chord with Megastar fans as well as family audiences.
While the narration follows a familiar template, the film’s strong entertainment value and Chiranjeevi’s impeccable comic timing played a decisive role in its phenomenal run.
Notably, MSG has also become the first blockbuster of 2026. With this achievement, the film now proudly stands at 15th place among the all-time highest-grossing Telugu films in North America.
