NTR comes forward to support Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin
Akhil Akkineni may share a close friendship with Ram Charan, but NTR also enjoys a warm bond with the Akkineni family, especially Nagarjuna. That camaraderie has now translated into support for Akhil’s upcoming film, “Lenin”.
According to industry sources, NTR has recorded a special video interview with Akhil Akkineni that features a conversation about “Lenin” along with a candid chat on various topics. The interview is expected to be released as part of the film’s promotional campaign in the coming days.
“Lenin” is a crucial film for Akhil, who is returning to the big screen after a three-year gap following the commercial failure of “Agent” in 2023. Determined to deliver a stronger film, Nagarjuna reportedly took a keen interest in the project, overseeing its development closely. The film underwent multiple rounds of reshoots, and its release date was postponed three times to further refine the final product.
Directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, “Lenin” is set against the backdrop of the Chittoor region, with Akhil speaking in the local dialect. Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on July 10.
