Mahesh Babu thrilled with Rao Bahadur, says producer

“Rao Bahadur,” starring Satyadev and directed by “C/O Kancharapalem” fame Venkatesh Maha, is gearing up for a theatrical release on July 3. The film is produced by Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy in association with Anurag Reddy and Sharath Chandra, while Superstar Mahesh Babu is presenting it.
Speaking about the film, producer Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy revealed that Mahesh Babu recently watched “Rao Bahadur” and was highly impressed with the final output.
“Mahesh Babu was truly amazed after watching the movie. He appreciated the way it has shaped up and felt that every department involved in the filmmaking process delivered exceptional work. His comment that a film like this has not been made before gave us tremendous confidence,” the producer said.
He further revealed that the team went to great lengths to ensure authenticity. “The entire film was shot at real locations. We selected a historic fort in Odisha, where no film shoot had been conducted before. We made only minimal modifications to suit the story and filmed with utmost care. Even the costumes featured in the movie are authentic originals,” he explained.
Talking about his collaboration with director Venkatesh Maha, the producer said he had long wanted to work with the filmmaker after being impressed by “C/O Kancharapalem.”
“I greatly admire Venkatesh Maha’s craftsmanship. The moment he narrated this story, I knew it was something special. ‘Rao Bahadur’ is designed to provide a grand theatrical experience. Audiences will be captivated by its scale and storytelling on the big screen. It offers a cinematic experience unlike anything they have seen before,” he added.
