Now that all films resuming the shoots, the big production houses have started looking at calendars to lock the release dates of their under production biggies. Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Acharya’ which was originally slated for August 14, 2020 release has now confirmed its date as April 9, 2021.
The priority is releasing on April 9 to cash in on the advantage of being the first release of the summer season. Director Koratala Siva needs to resume the shoot by November this year to meet the deadline. However, May 7th is the plan B. These dates have been locked for ‘Acharya’.
Now, it should resume the shoot.
‘Acharya’ has Chiranjeevi playing the role of a comrade who fights against the encroachment of temple lands and also seeks vengeance. Ram Charan will appear in the film in an extended role. He will appear just before the interval portion.
Ram Charan is expected to begin the shoot in the new schedule.
