BO: Band Melam, Youth, Suyodhana, and Happy Raj all flop

Last weekend witnessed the release of several low-budget and non-star Telugu films, but none managed to make an impact at the box office. Films like Band Melam, Suyodhana, Youth, and Happy Raj hit theaters, only to face rejection from audiences.
Among them, “Band Melam” had generated some buzz as it reunited the young pair Harsh Roshan and Sridevi A, who were earlier seen together in “Court.” Presented by Kona Venkat, the film was expected to repeat that success. However, it ended up receiving poor reviews and failed to draw audiences to theaters.
Priyadarshi’s “Suyodhana” also turned out to be an outright flop, continuing the disappointing trend. The dubbed film “Youth” performed relatively better compared to the others but still couldn’t emerge as a success.
Meanwhile, Happy Raj, starring G. V. Prakash Kumar and Sri Gouri Priya, failed to attract audiences despite its release.
On the other hand, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan, showed no improvement in its second weekend and is heading towards a flop verdict.
In contrast, Hindi blockbuster “Dhurandhar 2” continued its strong run, remaining the top choice for audiences and collecting steady revenues in the Telugu states during its second weekend.
