The speculations turned out to be true. Nithin’s ‘Maestro’ is skipping the route of theatrical release. The film’s all-rights – satellite, OTT, and theatrical – are bagged by Disney+Hotstar and Star Group.
So, the film will directly stream on the Hotstar OTT platform, becoming the first notable Telugu film to be premiered on it.
‘Maestro’ is the official remake of the acclaimed Hindi thriller ‘Andhadhun’. Merlapaka Gandhi is directing the movie. The entire shooting portion has been wrapped up recently.
Nithin had seen two disappointing results early this year with ‘Check’ and ‘Rang De.’ Considering this fact, his father Sudhakar Reddy made a wise decision of skipping the theatrical release for ‘Maestro’. Nithin is now relieved of the pressure to deliver a hit.
‘Maestro’ has Nabha Natesh as the heroine, and Tamannaah plays the negative role.
