The theatrical business is revived completely with the smash hit ‘Uppna’. Released on Feb 12, ‘Uppena’ has collected about Rs 26 crore share worldwide, turning it into a huge blockbuster.
‘Uppena’ is drawing more collections in Andhra. Interestingly, the film had a bigger haul on Sunday than the first day’s gross. In the USA as well, the film has managed to collect about $170k.

Trade pundits are expecting that the film would easily touch Rs 50 crore share.
‘Uppena’ is a regular romantic drama a poor-boy and a rich-girl but it also deals with the theme of masculinity and casteism.
