January 2026 witnessed a mixed box office outcome for Telugu films. Leading the pack was Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (MSG), which emerged as the undisputed winner of the month. “Anaganaga Oka Raju,” starring Naveen Polishetty, turned out to be another decent success story. But it is no way compare to the success of MSG.
Sharwanand’s “Nari Nari Naduma Murari” also managed to stay on the right side of the box office with steady collections. On the other hand, Ravi Teja’s “Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi” and Prabhas’s The Raja Saab ended up as major disappointments. Prabhas’s movie is a huge loss.
“The Raja Saab” will rank among all-time duds at the box office.
Released towards the end of the month, “Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi” failed to generate momentum at the box office.
